Dave has been my family Vet since I was 3 years old. His compassion and expertise have been consistently amazing over the 40 years I have been his client. We once had a dog tear her meninscus and PetCare (where we also have gone if it was a weekend) quoted us $4,000 for surgery. Dave said “Or you could give her pain pills and rest and see if she heals” She healed just fine. I trust this man with all of my animals. He knows intuitively when expensive measures are not necessary and when they are.

When he went into semi-retirement, I was nervous about a new doctor. But I should have known he would choose someone so special to be his successor. Dr B is just as amazing and just as capable and the kindest human. I trust her completely. I feel so very lucky to have such a caring team for my animals. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes and Dr B helped us CURE HER of her diabetes. The empathy the staff has is unparalleled to any other Vet clinic I have been to. Thank you to all of you.

I was traveling through the area, and my poor unfortunate 11yo Shepherd had (what we think was) a stoke. He needed to be humanely euthanized as soon as possible for his own comfort.

I was devastated, but the vets here were ready when we arrived, made the process easy to understand, and helped me get through it.

Then, when I was away and his ashes came back, they helped me figure out how to get them and held them until a friend could come.

This is the worst case scenario for all dog parents… but Healdsburg Vet Hospital made all the difference.

I have been a client of Dr. Dave’s for over 25 years. He is the BEST and only vet I trust. He and his staff are stellar and over the lifespan of 5 dogs, going on 6, he became part of my family.

Entire staff is excellent. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Life-saving surgery to remove a 5 lb. tumor on my German Shepherd was successful and the tumor stayed gone. I can’t say enough good things about this well-respected clinic!
